What is a BCSI Certified Evaluator?
BCSI Certified Evaluators play a critical role in advancing bioscience education by conducting and assessing practical skill exams for BCSI credentials. As a Certified Evaluator, you’ll help maintain high standards in bioscience training, ensuring students and trainees demonstrate proficiency in essential lab skills.
The complete cost of the BCSI Evaluator Training is $400, covering both a day of skills testing and a day of training.
Day 1: BCSI Testing Day - $100
- Overview: All candidates undergo assessments in five essential skills as part of the evaluator qualification process.
- Cost: $100 for the testing session ($20/test).
- Scheduling: Testing will take place by appointment on Day 1 (Jan 31) and lasts approximately 1.5 hours.
- Preparation: We’ll send study guides and preparation materials once registration is complete.
Day 2: Evaluator Training - $300
- Overview: A full-day training that includes credentialing procedures, evaluation standards, and distribution of evaluator materials.
- Cost: $300 for the full-day session.
- Timing: The training session on Day 2 (Feb 1) will run from 9 am to 4 pm. You do not need to schedule a separate appointment for this day.
